I have served on the board of directors for 4 years and have seen the amazing works that are done through this non-profit agency. The Souper Bowl
For those of you who could not attend the Souper Bowl event, Asha placed some of the bowls online - more will be online soon. Continue to help us raise funds by purchasing the bowls below- $20 from each bowl will go to the Cancer Support Center of Maine. They are at the Blue Heron in Bangor, at the Pottery Art and Writing Studio and Showroom, online here and potentially other places soon

Dead River Company gave a $500 donation to the Cancer Support Center on January 18, 2013. District manager, Mr. Tyler, said that," Dead River believes it's both a privilege and responsibility to be an active member of the communities we serve." Supporting many local causes throughout the state, Tyler continued," Dead River is very pleased to help the Center's efforts and mission, which enhances the quality of life for our neighbors."

Open House and Wine Tasting at The Good Kettle
Thank you to Gay Dion, owner of the Good kettle, 247 US Rt1 in Stockton Springs, who hosted an Open House benefit for the Cancer Support Center of Maine, on Sunday Nov. 11th, from 2 to 5PM. There will be another on December 7th, 4:30 - 7:00pm

The Dions, owners of the Good Kettle offered half the profits from a wine tasting benefit on Nov. 11th. They are hosting monthly wine tastings at their business and will be donating 10% of profits on those evenings to the Center.
